In this work, we investigate the effect of morphology and segmental dynamics on ion transport in polymerized lyotropic liquid crystals (polyLLCs) containing 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate as ionic liquid (IL). We demonstrate that two important factors, which affect ion conduction in polyLLCs, are grain size and chain density at the interface. The polyLLC with large grain size (70 nm) shows significant reduction in ion conductivity (one order of magnitude) compared to its homopolymer/IL mixture. However, the polyLLC with small grain size (20 nm) has little difference in ion conductivity compared to its homopolymer/IL mixture. It is observed that decreasing the chain density enhances the interaction of IL with polymer chains and consequently slows the relaxation of polymer chains. In addition, comparing the dynamics of polymer chains in mixtures of homopolymer/IL and templated LLC mesophases shows that the confinement in LLC structure prolongs the relaxation of polymer chains.  相似文献

The CO2 reduction reaction (CRR) represents a promising route for the clean utilization of renewable resources. But mass-transfer limitations seriously hinder the forward step. Enhancing the surface hydrophobicity by using polymers has been proved to be one of the most efficient strategies. However, as macromolecular organics, polymers on the surface hinder the transfer of charge carriers from catalysts to reactants. Herein, we describe an in-situ surface fluorination strategy to enhance the surface hydrophobicity of TiO2 without a barrier layer of organics, thus facilitating the mass transfer of CO2 to catalysts and charge transfer. With less obstruction to charge transfer, a higher CO2, and lower H+ surface concentration, the photocatalytic CRR generation rate of methanol (CH3OH) is greatly enhanced to up to 247.15 μmol g−1 h−1. Furthermore, we investigated the overall defects; enhancing the surface hydrophobicity of catalysts provides a general and reliable method to improve the competitiveness of CRR.  相似文献

A simple method was proposed for calculating the composition of nonstoichiometric or partially oxidized magnetite, based on a linear relationship between the position of the (440) peak in the X-ray diffraction pattern and the completeness of material oxidation. Cyclodextrins are natural oligosaccharides used to increase the solubility of drugs. It has numerous applications in drug discovery, food storage and other fields. Loftsson et al. explained about applications of Cyclodextrins(CDs) in administrating the drugs through various ways. Jansook et al. has given insights into the structure, physicochemical properties and pharmaceutical applications of CDs. In the present work, cyclodextrin and its derivatives such as α, β, γ CDs are studied for which various degree and neighborhood degree-based topological indices are computed through M-polynomial and NM-polynomial respectively and the comparison of the indices for all three types of cyclodextrins are presented which are of great importance in QSPR/QSAR studies.  相似文献
